Hi

This is only the second time I've run a BBS and the first time was an
internal company one back in the early 90s (mostly for copying files and
drivers around the company plus private discussion boards for IT dept) 

So most of what I've learnt has been by dredging through whatever
documentation I could find at the time. Today the documentation side of
things seems to be much more easily found (I never used an expensive
commercial bbs back in the day).

But one thing I keep on seeing is the use of FREQ'ing a file. I've looked
around docs and searched online but am unable to find any reference to how to
FREQ a file - it's as if it is some secret handshake given to only the secret
society members once they reach a certain grade. 

Could anybody explain the FREQ command to me and how to use it? 

And if it is so secret feel free to reply by private netmail or even email
with PGP (lol)
