Here's one for you.. I had a chance to buy stock in a dying company called
Quantum Services, the shares were selling for about $2 and change a share, it
was an Online Service. There was an underground group trying to take over the
company and keep the online service going. I wanted to invest a few hundred
bucks but my wife said no! So I didn't. The Online service closed down about
6 months later but was re-invented. That online service was Qlink, and it
became AOL! Suffice to say if I would have bought $300 worth of shares and
sold them in 2005 not knowing the exact figures but a investor friend once
told me those shares after splitting numerous times would have been worth
close to a cool million! Woulda, coulda, shoulda! Jeez..
