It's totally ok and kinda realistic.  I was pissed at the internet for
slowing traffic down as much as it did on BBSs; at the time I felt
there was room for both.  Plus didn't like the 3-5 files necessary to
connect to the internet at the time, lol!  Something like winsock, and
I don't remember the rest.

I think I went right to yahoo messenger but will look it up if I need
to.  Ryan and I were able to work through the issue thank god, my
message and file groups/areas finally show again!  Big credits to him.

It's remote access through microsoft (I think) ..I like it better then
zoom for sharing desktops and working through issues.

I usually use TeamView when helping sysops or being helped by one,
along with Zoom or simply the phone to talk through it.  Sometimes
modern tech is the best way to get older tech to work again.  It'll be
nice when we have some of those tools (especially displaying .jpg
images) accessible on BBS's.  While I don't want to see cat or Trump
memes, it would be nice to post snips when trouble shooting issues.
