Yes, she was the Aunt on Doc Martin, and left that show to rejoin the cast
of "Open All Hours" for it sequel, "Still Open All Hours."

And Jen was the Receptionist, too.  I did some checking into that... I
think she was actually playing both characters during the same time frame.
She plays/ed the female lead in the drama "Humans" also, which came after
her stints on Doc Martin and the IT Crowd, and was one of the leads on a
single-season drama about a bunch of pregnant women who mostly wind up as
friends.

Her IT Crowd character is my favorite of the ones she has done that I have
seen.

If you liked the IT Crowd, check on the British/Irish comedy, "Moone Boy."
Chris O'Dowd plays the imaginary friend to the lead character, a young boy
named Martin Moone.  Hilarious.  I believe that show was his concept, too.
BTW, O'Dowd also had a two-episode guest role on Doc Martin as the business
partner to Louisa's father... and a schizophrenic (sp?) who plays havok on
Martin and Louisa.

I cannot remember if "Jen" was still the receptionist for those episodes, or
if that was before or after her stint.  I think it was either before or
during.
