I'm no expert, and a total n00b when it comes to fido tech, but what about
creating the ability for the person in charge of echos on a network to be
able to send a special areafix command out to alll echo subscribers that
would automatically remove the dead echoes from the systems? Would probably
require a way to have areafix watch the echoes for a special command to be
sent through the echo.
