When I see auto-posted rules, and the moderator hasn't posted anything in an 
extended period of time, I get frustrated. Kill off the dead echoes and 
Fidonet traffic would be akin to a thriving othernet - which wouldn't be a 
bad thing.

I do like Avon's echolist in FSX - one main echo for most everything and one 
for bot postings, whether they're message stats, ads, file area 
announcements or whatever. Keeps the message counts up, consolidates the 
human posts and makes for a more lively experience, IMO.
