I played with Linux Mint for a while but I have their Command line for
almost every thing you want to do.
I have it on a spare laptop SSD and I got it working great as a Internet
and word processing machine.
And amazingly I have put the SSD in both in my Desktop and another
laptop and they both booted up just  fine
