Is there a way you can reset the Windows 10 stock view that reflects 
the left side display of shorcuts, top half display of drives, and 
bottom half of recent files & places?  Did you upgrade your computer to 
Windows 10 from Windows 7 or 8?  If you did, maybe it brought through 
your previous settings from those OS's.  Reset the view back to default 
and see what happens.  I think you will like the new functionality.
