This is my first time in this conference I think. I hope it is still active
and I can get some ideas on a small problem I have..

My Windows 7 computer has recently started generating an error while booting.
It pops up a window saying that it can't find a file and gives the location
as being in the main User folders in a Temporary file folder. The whole
error message reads:

Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\Rob\AppData\Local\Temp\ups.exe. Make sure you
typed the name correctly and then try again.

Obviously I didn't type anything. I tried looking for a referrence to a file
called ups.exe in the Startup programs and then hoping to find the command
line for it, I did a registry search for the file name, and neither showed a
listing. If this were the olden days I'd expect to be looking in the
Autoexec.bat file for a command to run a program, but I'm not sure where they
set up things like that in Windows 7.

Possibly the command was run through Windows Power Shell since right clicking
on the error seemed to show that program name as the possible source but I
couldn't get any History of commands to show that from Power Shell either.

Any thoughts of where a command to run a program could be hidden where it
would run during boot-up? Since the ups.exe file doesn't exist on the computer
it would seem like something that was either stopped from installing or
something that was deleted from the Temporary folder.
