EV> Thanks, 73 de Ed W9ODR You'd likely be able to read one 2tb partition on the drive under XP if the sata controller itself supports drives over 2tb (if not it just won't show up at all), but to partition anything over 2tb on a drive you need to use GPT instead of MBR formatting, and the earliest OS that will read a GPT/GUID drive is Vista on the consumer side, and Server 2008 on the Enterprise side.
