After all of the trouble shooting I've DC> done, it was nodespy being loaded creating the delay (smh). First, I've rarely used Nodespy, unless I'm suspicious of a user. But, the BBS is now on my late Mom's computer, when the former one went +!+$ up on me. :P It's in what was my late parents bedroom (my Dad and my wife died 13 1/2 years ago, and my Mom died a year ago)...so, the only time I'm at it, is for updating bulletins for the BBS, ham radio, or weather. Second, I've got 2 that'll beat that. Recently, I couldn't figure out why batchfiles were quitting, after the Windows 10 Task Scheduler showed they had run, but nothing was being done. So, I opened the file, and saw two words... GOTO EXIT That explains why the messages never posted. :P But, years ago, when I was dating the woman who eventually became my Co-Sysop and wife, I was visiting her apartment. The BBS was still dial-up only back then, and I had set up a macro when I logged on at the host console...to enter my name, password, and anything else. It was at my parents home, in my bedroom. I moved out before I got married in 2003, but moved back here 2 years ago, a year before my Mom died. Well, I dialed in, connected, and got to the logon prompt. I was using the same terminal program (GT Power, which is both a terminal and host mode in one) on her computer, as I was at home. I hit the macro key, and nothing happened. I thought "WTH??" -- then, it hit me like a bolt of lightning. I could hear the BBS mocking me... "You aren't at the host console. You don't your password. You can't logon to your own BBS!!" . I felt so stupid...in this case, my initials stood for dumb $h+! :P Daryl .... No Virus Found. AARRGGHH!! I've got the No Virus!! === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.11-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - tbolt.synchro.net (1:19/33) .
