I have been quite happy with Win 10pro since I received a laptop with Win10pro, to the extent that I even bought a stationary Dell with Win7 on Nov 30 2015 and upgraded it to 10pro while the upgrade was still free > So far all the upgrades to my stationary PC as well as the laptop with > Win10pro have worked without a hitch. I should never have written that. In March things started to happen. An announcement from M$ told that it would take a long time on my laptop so I decided to remove the HD-password to avoid running back and forth to the machine when it wanted to reboot. The upgrade was successfull and the machine worked OK. Now the PWRD back again. OK, the previous password wasn't accepted so I started a new one with a first umlaut letter. That wasn't accepted because only characters/numerals on an US keyboard were accepted and the accented letter keys didn't send the correct characters. I did never get that choice of keybs I've seen on many other instances. Later in march an upgrade came to the stationary machine. That never came to an end and I have since had to re-install Windows 10pro and am still installing programs that went out the door because the install wiped those programmes that were on the C: drive. Now I will probably get the new version of OS/2 instead, and install new versions of Thunderbird (if I can't get the new PMMail for OS/2) and Firefox, because this OS/2 machine has never failed.
