On Mozilla's web site I've read that Thunderbird's In-Box should be cleared out often. It's a little late for me to learn that, isn't it? > > Since last November I have been Moving Email messages that come in the TW> In-Box, > that I want to keep, down in to a sub-folder (SUB-DIRECTORY) below the n-Box > because none of the messages were lost that I had stored in any of those > sub-folders after I Compacted TB last November. That is what I thought, Thank You!. The only other thought I've had on restore all the lost messages in the last MOZBACKUP file and KEEPING all of the newer messages is to make another USER in XP and install Thunderbird in it and Restore the old MOZBACKUP there. Then If I want to read or move any of the messages in that In-Box into another sub-folder to keep them even if I compact the new Users TB messages. 73 de Ed W9ODR . . ....
