You may have to adapt your working habits as you make this PQ> latest evolutionary step of yours, my friend. :) I have already! The improvement has been remarkable but has taken far PQ> too long, with the in-between steps so slowly introducing measurable PQ> advancements. Well, once I get this machine upgraded, I'll be back with my favourite programs in OS/2. I has however, taken too a long time. PQ> And then along came my journey with Linux over the last decade, PQ> No wonder I am an older frail shadow of my former self! ;) I too have been interested in Linux, but the case sensitivity has been the stumbling stone. Other than that, I wouldn't mind learning a new command set. PQ> Thank you. The crickets are chirping, and the general hubbub of PQ> this end of town is quieting from its industrious weekday high. Since a few years back I don't hear the crickets anymore, but yesterday I thought I heard the flapping wings of a butterfly. And there's no bird that I don't hear. PQ> It's wet BTW, though the 78% humidity is bearable with the current PQ> temp of 20.8C (the bureau reckons it feels like 22C). For us, PQ> anything over 20C is just fantastic. That temperature is comfortable for us. It has been hovering between 20 - 22ø in the afternoons. The last day we had rain was the 15th, except an occasional short shower now and then. PQ> I have a cold or light flu (I've had this year's flu-shot), so I PQ> feel somewhat lousy. It's only temporary. Summer colds are usually difficult to cure. If you take medicines, the flu will be over in 14 days, if not it'll last 2 weeks. On the T-bird frontier I had a session last night, without success, on the stationary machine, but before I gave up I started up the laptop, to see if the versions were the same, and then saw why I didn't succeed on the stationary. On the laptop I saw the left edge of the main T-bird window, with the File, Edit etc commands and choices. On the stationary, the mail editor completely covered the main window. Tonight, I'll shove them apart, and make a new try. This time I'm gonna succeed ;o).
