This end of town has been through many floods over the years. The house is an early settler's cottage, with a lot of upgrades. It's over 100-something years old, and is on concrete stumps. I'm about 1.8m and in most places under the house I have to duck my head, lest I prang the woodwork... which I have done a lot of times, in times' past, as I'm sure I've got a flatter forehead. What we have had so far, HG> has been some sort of appetizing pre-summer. Well, it's just not letting go here. The temp was 19.1C at 9h30 this morning. We're expecting a max of 25+C later. We had a max of 30C just the other day. Gorgeous weather besides. It's actually a pleasure to enjoy a few moments in the sunshine (which is still dangerous for us in winter). Cheers, Paul. ....
