Subj : Classic Shell To : Jean Parrot From : Holger Granholm Date : Tue May 03 2016 21:56:00 Hello my friend, You were right, and you knew it! I would'nt need the ClassicShell, hi. Thanks to you, and other friends here, I got to grips with Win10. Especially the Win key shorthands helped me tremendously to find my way around, as did the lessons on how to use the lower left icon. My file manager par pr‚ference still is the ZTree Windows version. Now, using Win10 is as "easy" as using XP on my Lenovo laptop. Speaking of Lenovo, I must also tell that the Dell Laptop I got as a XMAS gift, also has the joy stick in the middle of the keyboard. I got so used to the joy stick with the ThinkPads, that I prefer to use it, even though the Dell also has the touch plate, or whatever that is called. In the meantime, if I didn't tell you, I also bought a second hand Dell stationary machine with Windows 7, and upgraded it to Win10. That in turn resulted in buying a new 23" LCD monitor, because all monitors i had previously were VGA (SVGA) monitors. I'm also slowly getting on terms with Thunderbird. Both machines now have a recovery USB stick. The Dell laptop has been backed up to two separate free standing backup harddisks, and the Dell Optiplex 760 has been secured to an image on a loose HD, driven by a Plexgear USB to SATA/IDE adapter. I didn't have cabinet for that HD, hi. So far that's the news from here. But I still run OS/2 on this machine. Any news of our common friend Ed? He hasn't poked Fidonet for a long time. 73 de Sam, OH0NC aka Holger --- þ MR/2 2.30 þ Friends are the spice of life! Are you hot or mild? * Origin: Coming to you from the Sunny Aland Islands.
