It is connecting, but nothing seems to be transferring. Late July was when Synchronet crashed on me big time, and I went back to VADV32. I noted a REP packet in an directory, but it was over 2 months old. Here's the IREX setup I have: Site Name: capcity2.synchro.net User Name: ******* (asterisked out) Password: ******** (asterisked out) Site's Hours: 0:00-24:00 Lock File Size: 1 byte Unique storage: No Filename Case: Don't care Script Type: Automatic (constructed by Rex) Dest. Directory: (blank -- does something need to go here??) Directory Locking: Do not use directory locking I'm rechecking a batchfile that I got from Steve Winn, and modifying it for my use. This is what I have, so if things need to be corrected, please let me know. *** C: CD\VA REM VQWK IS VADV'S QWK MAIL PROCESSOR. THE 9 IS A SPECIAL SYSTEM REM ACCOUNT FOR IT, AND 73 IS THE INTERNAL NETWORK ID VQWK.EXE 0 /EXPORT=C:\VA\REP\CAPCITY2.REP,9 NETWORKID=73 GOTO CONVERT :CONVERT REM PKUNZIP TAKES THE INITIAL CAPCITY2.REP FILE, UNZIPS IT, AND REM TAKES OUT THE MESSAGES.DAT FILE, DELETES THE ORIGINAL CAPCITY2.REP REM FILE, CONVERTS THE ORIGINAL MESSAGES.DAT FILE TO CAPCITY2.REP, REM THEN RE-ZIPS CAPCITY2.REP WITH CAPCITY2.MSG, AND MOVES THE REM CAPCITY2.REP FILE TO THE OUTGOING AREA FOR IREX TO HANDLE. CD\VA\REP PKUNZIP.EXE -o C:\VA\REP\CAPCITY2.REP MESSAGES.DAT CD\VA VQWK2REP.EXE CAPCITY2 C:\VA\REP CD\VA\REP IF EXIST MESSAGES.DAT DEL MESSAGES.DAT IF EXIST CAPCITY2.REP DEL CAPCITY2.REP IF NOT EXIST CAPCITY2.MSG GOTO FINISH PKZIP.EXE -m CAPCITY2.REP CAPCITY2.MSG IF EXIST CAPCITY2.REP MOVE CAPCITY2.REP C:\VA\FIDOMAIL\OUT\GTPNAUTO IF EXIST CAPCITY2.MSG DEL CAPCITY2.MSG I ran each of these lines by hand, so it should work properly. Yet, when I ran a deal for IREX to send, it connected to your system, but nothing seemed to transfer. Daryl ....
