USB Modems, are tough, I tried running one with a VM and the host couldn't
pass the com port to the VM. Even though it was a USB modem, the VM never saw
it.. In fact it is now sitting in my closet gathering dust because I have no
use for it.. LOL At least that was my experience with it...
