Apologies. I was just taking stock of previous Telegram members to this echo and re-adding them when Telegram cut me off. When I got cut off, it seems that many of the other groups that I first created (even after handing over admin rights to Stas) ..were cut off too.  We had to recreate WIFI on this side. Stas recreated it this time and named it Wi-Fi. A little while later I renamed it to WI-FI.  Then I re-added you as I noticed your name was linked in the first version.

As you mention, the "chatty" groups are best for this medium, primarily because the display format here is proportional spacing only, and the writing window is about 65 chars max per line on the DT version of Telegram. Ofcourse, incoming quoted messages from Fidonet tend to wrap more frequently when using the interface on a smartphone.
