Rainfall is expected to decrease rapidly this morning as the cold front advances south and east of California. The slow-moving frontal system that produced rain in this region over the previous few days will be moving inland, and the heavy rainfall threat will decrease quickly Wednesday morning as the cold front pushes south and east of California. Additional rainfall totals look to remain fairly low, but the soils will be saturated so any additional rainfall could pose a flooding threat. The latest guidance had a notable drop in QPF amounts over parts of the Transverse Ranges but maintained the highest amounts focusing over portions of Riverside and San Diego Counties. The Marginal Risk area was maintained for the ongoing threat for flooding although was reduced along the northern bounds to reflect the latest trend and WPC forecast. Campbell Day 2 The Day 2 outlook will be updated by 0830Z. Day 3 The Day 3 outlook will be updated by 0830Z.
