Severe thunderstorms are not expected today or tonight.

....Great Lakes...
Steepening lapse rates are expected today and especially into
tonight with mid-level cooling related to the eastward-spread of the
Ontario-centered upper-level trough. Intensifying mesoscale snow
bands are expected in focused lee-side areas of the Great Lakes,
with cool mid-level temperatures atop relatively warm lake waters. A
few short-duration/isolated thunderstorms will be possible as some
of the convection will potentially achieve charge separation with
lightning discharge.
