A positively tilted upper trough will continue to dominate much of the central/eastern CONUS on Monday, with a surface cold front generally advancing off the Gulf/Atlantic Coasts. Thunderstorm potential appears very limited across a large portion of the U.S. owing to a lack of meaningful instability.
