The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 672
continues.

SUMMARY...Strong to marginally severe (55-65 mph) wind gusts may
accompany a mesoscale circulation in northern Mississippi for the
next 1-2 hours.

DISCUSSION...A mesoscale circulation has developed and is now
located southeast of Oxford, MS. This small, but organized, cluster
of storms will likely be the primary focus for strong to marginally
severe wind gusts (55-65 mph) for the next 1-2 hours. As this
activity moves southward, it will encounter a less unstable
environment as sampled by the 00Z JAN sounding. Elsewhere within WW
672, activity has been and should remain more isolated.
Strong/damaging wind gusts may also occur with these more isolated
storms, but confidence is lower.
