A few tornadoes are expected tonight mainly across the coastal Carolinas in association with Hurricane Idalia. ....TS Idalia... Center of TS Idalia continues its northeast movement along the SC Coast early this evening. Primary convective bands have shifted a bit downstream with a focus now along the SC/NC border region toward the Outer Banks of NC. Latest radar data continues to suggest supercells offshore, and these will rotate inland with an attendant tornado risk. Idalia is forecast to track toward the SC/NC Coast, then offshore early Thursday. As it does, stronger shear and supercell threat will shift east.
