The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 613
continues.

SUMMARY...The threat for damaging gusts continues across Severe
Thunderstorm Watch 613. The threat may continue east into far
eastern GA and a downstream Severe Thunderstorm Watch may be needed
in an hour or two.

DISCUSSION...A loosely organized MCS continues to progress eastward
across eastern AL, where multiple strong wind gusts have been noted.
Surface temperatures have risen into the mid to upper 90s F across
southern GA (to the Atlantic Coastline), where 20Z mesoanalysis
depicts 6000 J/kg SBCAPE/MUCAPE. The potential for damaging gusts
should accompany the MCS to the Atlantic Coast. As such, a
downstream Severe Thunderstorm Watch may be needed in the next hour
or so to address the damaging gust threat.
