The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 599 continues.

SUMMARY...The severe threat continues across Tornado Watch 599.
Severe wind and hail are likely, with at least a couple of tornadoes
still possible, particularly with the more dominant, discrete
supercell storms.

DISCUSSION...Numerous multicellular complexes and a few supercells
have become established across the eastern OH Valley toward the
central Appalachians amid an unstable, strongly sheared airmass. A
couple instances of large hail and damaging gusts have been
reported, with brief instances of low-level rotation noted on some
of the discrete supercells. Given the available buoyancy/shear
parameter space, damaging gusts and large hail should continue to
accompany the stronger storms. A couple of tornadoes remain
possible, particularly with the more dominant, discrete supercells
that can take advantage of the pristine airmass, especially farther
east, where regional VADs and mesoanalysis-based hodographs
demonstrate slightly higher low-level curvature.
