The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 591
continues.

SUMMARY...Damaging wind threat appears to be increasing across the
eastern TX Panhandle into western OK.

DISCUSSION...MCS is slowly maturing over the eastern TX Panhandle
late this evening. This cluster of storms has evolved along the
southern fringe of stronger mid-level flow associated with a
transitory short-wave trough over the central Plains. Early-day
convection has contributed to an outflow boundary that is currently
draped from south-central OK into the TX Panhandle. Southerly 1km
flow has increased to near 35kt ahead of this activity and there is
increasing concern the aforementioned MCS may propagate along/just
north of the boundary with an attendant threat for damaging winds.
