The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 581
continues.

SUMMARY...The threat for damaging winds will continue over the next
couple of hours across WW 581 with a more focused corridor of wind
damaging potential across parts of central Georgia. Trends will
continue to be monitored, but downstream watch issuance is currently
not anticipated.

DISCUSSION...Regional radar trends across AL and GA show the
convective line is trending towards becoming outflow dominant.
However, a few sections of the line are maintaining balanced
updraft/downdraft convergence zones and continue to produce damaging
winds. One more prominent section is noted across central GA where
velocity imagery from KJGX shows transient bowing structures -
likely aided by enhanced line-orthogonal mid-level flow within the
stratiform region sampled in KFFC VWP observations. Consequently,
portions of central GA downstream of this zone of enhanced wind may
see a regionally higher potential for damaging winds through 01 UTC
and possibly to 02 UTC.

Otherwise, the general expectation is for the line to continue to
transition to outflow-dominant as the line migrates into a region
with reduced buoyancy and weaker mid-level flow. While sporadic
damaging winds will be possible, the overall threat should
sufficiently diminish to preclude a downstream watch.
