Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 541...

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 541
continues.

SUMMARY...Isolated strong/severe storms will continue for 1 to 2
more hours with a risk for hail and strong wind gusts. A downstream
watch is not anticipated after the scheduled 04z/11 pm CDT
expiration of the remaining valid portions of Severe Thunderstorm
Watch 541.

DISCUSSION...Regional composite radar imagery shows isolated
strong/occasionally severe thunderstorms over northwest KS and far
southwest Nebraska at 0225z. Overall, intensities continue to
diminish as CINH gradually increases with the onset of nocturnal
cooling and aggregate effects of outflow from prior/ongoing storms.
An isolated severe storm will remain possible for the next couple of
hours where instability is locally maximized, however the general
weakening trend is likely to continue such that a downstream watch
will not be needed after the scheduled expiration of the remaining
valid portions of WW 541 at 04z.
