The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 395
continues.

SUMMARY...Local severe risk continues across southeastern Virginia
and into the Delmarva Peninsula, where thunderstorms continue moving
eastward across WW 395.

DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop shows a cluster of vigorous storms
moving across southeastern Virginia west of Chesapeake Bay, with
more isolated storms extending eastward across the Bay into southern
parts of the Delmarva Peninsula.  Across this area, moderate
instability persists per RAP-based objective analysis, and given
moderate southwesterly flow through a deep layer (per recent AKQ
WSR-88D VWP), sufficient for organized convection, occasional/local
increases in storm intensity above severe levels will be possible
over the next couple of hours.
