Valid 132357Z - 140100Z The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 283 continues. SUMMARY...A supercell with very large hail (perhaps wind-driven) will persist through the evening. DISCUSSION...A long-lived supercell continues southeast across the Texas Panhandle. This storm has a history of producing large to very large hail (as large as 4 inches near Dalhart). The downstream environment remains similar with around 1500 J/kg MUCAPE and effective shear around 70 knots. This should continue to support a sustained, strong supercell through the evening with a threat for large hail. While no severe wind reports have been received, the reflectivity structure is analogous to past wind-driven hail supercells. ...Bentley.. 06/13/2023 ....Please see https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.spc.noaa.gov__;!!DZ3fj= g!7SWFpyl7twRd_WRvRC89vePqM8IgcjoT4zHwdCVxc9bnoiuGoX0lj1E9IaqY2ZsCLw4QLmrSu= qWr59kra-sB88Eeae4$ for graphic product...
