The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 186
continues.

SUMMARY...Local severe risk continues with isolated stronger storms,
but overall downward trends in intensity should continue.

DISCUSSION...Clusters of strong/locally severe storms continue
moving eastward across portions of Texas late this evening, from the
Red River Valley region of northeastern Texas to a lone supercell
storm southwest of the San Antonio area.

A few of the updrafts remain vigorous, with attendant risk for hail
and locally strong wind gusts persisting.  However, radar reveals a
noted decrease in intensity over the past hour, and this trend
should continue as gradual diurnal stabilization of the boundary
layer continues.=20=20

WW 186 is currently scheduled to expire at 05/05Z, and it would
appear that much of the remaining risk should occur between now and
WW expiration.  Though a local extension in time and/or area may be
needed to cover risk from a lingering/stronger storm or two, current
indications are that new WW issuance will not be required.
