The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 168
continues.

SUMMARY...Colliding boundaries will make severe storms likely
between 6 and 8 PM EDT with a threat for large hail and damaging
winds.

DISCUSSION...KTBW and KMLB WSR-88Ds show outflow boundaries
emanating west from central Florida and northeast from storms in
western Florida. These boundaries are expected to collide in the US
17/98 vicinity  around 6PM EDT. Given the strong instability in the
area (2000 J/kg MLCAPE), expect strong updrafts to develop and
quickly become organized into supercells given the 50-55 knots of
effective shear. This environment, and the additional vertical
velocity from the boundary collision, will be favorable for large
hail, some potentially (2+") between 6PM and 8PM EDT.
