The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 154 continues.

SUMMARY...The threat for severe thunderstorms capable of all severe
hazards, including tornadoes, will continue across northern IL and
southern WI.

DISCUSSION...A few discrete cells initialized along the front over
the past hour and half, with a mostly discrete mode persisting until
now. These cells have moved slightly off the front, supported by
westerly/southwesterly deep-layer flow. If cell interactions can
remain limited, these storms should continue to mature, with an
associated threat for tornadogenesis. Storm mergers, whether from
left splits or varying storm motion from more mature cells, could
interrupt this maturing process. In either case, the downstream air
mass remain modestly buoyant and strongly sheared and the threat for
severe thunderstorms capable of all hazards will continue for the
next few hours, particularly across northern IL.
