The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 137
continues.

SUMMARY...Damaging wind and hail threat continues in WW137.

DISCUSSION...The ongoing MCS across southeastern Louisiana and
southern Mississippi continues to show organization along its
southern extent with noted weakening across the northern flank
entering Alabama. A gradient in moisture is noted across the
Mississippi/Alabama border, with dew points dropping into the mid
50s across portions of southeastern Alabama. This transition to
weaker moisture is likely cause of weakening within the northeastern
surging portions of the MCS. The southwestern advancing portion of
the MCS located within mid 60s to 70s dew points will continue to be
capable of damaging winds and hail as it moves into the Gulf. A
downstream watch is not expected.
