The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 131
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat will gradually shift southeast this evening.

DISCUSSION...Earlier supercell activity has evolved into a larger
corridor of convection that currently extends from DE into
south-central VA. In the absence of more organized rotating storms,
it appears the hail threat has waned considerably with this
activity. Modest buoyancy persists across southeast VA/MD which
should aid forward propagation, especially as deeper flow is
becoming more westerly with time. Primary risk with these storms
appears to be locally damaging winds, especially for the next couple
of hours.
