Periods of gusty winds and reduced visibility may also promote hazardous road conditions in the core of the snow band. DISCUSSION...Wrap-around snowfall should continue to the north of a 700 mb low centered over eastern SD. 00Z mesoanalysis shows strong 700 mb warm-air advection grazing the northern Plains, providing enough lift, moisture, and convergence to support periods of heavy snow across eastern ND into far northern MN. This 700 mb warm-air advection should gradually drift north-northeastward through the evening, resulting in a gradual weakening of the snow band later tonight. In the meantime, periods of 1 inch/hr snow fall rates should continue over the next few hours, accompanied by strong wind gusts. The wind gusts and reduced visibility with the heavier snow rates may promote hazardous road conditions over the next few hours. ...Squitieri.. 04/05/2023 ....Please see https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.spc.noaa.gov__;!!DZ3fj= g!43hByQ-A5CNf9GqkNprXHvQp4dCYDuYyybz7BxD4HTRGJS2_Ni4tDpgPYzEmO3Yls47EB6nw6= L9k1JKp-8cjkx6OwwA$ for graphic product...
