....THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR PARTS OF THE
SOUTHERN MID ATLANTIC COAST...

....SUMMARY...
Damaging winds and some hail remain possible across parts of the Mid
Atlantic this evening.

....Mid Atlantic into New England...
The bulk of organized convection has moved offshore, though some
stronger storms remain across parts of the Mid Atlantic and also
across southern New England. Some threat for locally damaging wind
and isolated hail may persist until around 02 UTC near the southern
Mid Atlantic coast, where MLCAPE of 500-1000 J/kg and strong
deep-layer shear will continue to support organized convection until
ongoing storms move offshore.

Farther north into southern New England, some small hail may occur
with the strongest storms until convection moves offshore later this
evening, but weak instability should generally limit the severe
threat.
