The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 91 continues.

SUMMARY...Strong to severe thunderstorms capable of damaging wind
gust and/or a brief tornado remain possible across central GA.
Additional strong to severe storms are possible downstream across
more of central/southern GA as well as far southeast AL.

DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms continue along a composite
outflow boundary analyzed from east-central GA westward into
east-central AL and then more southwestward into southern MS.
Moderate low to mid-level flow exists along the eastern vicinity of
this boundary across AL and GA. This flow has supported a few
supercells over the past hour or two. Current radar trends reveals
that much of the ongoing activity has become outflow dominant.
However, given the favorable shear, reorganization/restrengthening
on this ongoing activity is possible, particularly if brief updraft
intensification occurs as a result of cell and/or boundary
interactions. As such, the threat for damaging gust and/or a brief
tornado will persist for at least the next hour or two.=20

Farther west, downstream destabilization coupled with ascent along
the approaching outflow and persisting moderate vertical shear could
result in additional development of strong to severe storms. Trends
will be monitored for the next few hours for possible watch
issuance.
