The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 67 continues.

SUMMARY...The greatest short-term risk for a brief tornado may focus
over south-central GA through 330pm EDT.

DISCUSSION...KJGX radar imagery over the past 30-45 minutes has
shown a couple of mini supercells, embedded within a
southwest-northeast oriented rain shield with a mix of cellular and
linear storm modes.  Surface analysis implies a theta-e axis
protruding northeastward from near TLH to south-central GA with 1000
J/kg SBCAPE.  Although low-level directional shear is limited given
veered south-southwesterly surface winds, appreciable speed shear is
contributing to around 100 m2/s2 0-0.5 km SRH.  Earlier supercell
rotation over Crisp County appeared to be enhanced as it encountered
trailing outflow from a lead linear segment.  Augmentation of the
low-level shear via storm-to-storm interactions may be an essential
mechanism for tornadogenesis in an otherwise modest environment for
tornado potential.  However, it seems that additional updrafts will
attempt to acquire intermittent rotation and pose a risk for
damaging gusts and perhaps a tornado over the next hour or so within
this mesoscale corridor.
