....NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

....SUMMARY...
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible today in parts of the
southern Great Lakes and along parts of the West Coast, but no
severe threat is expected.

....DISCUSSION...
A low-amplitude anticyclonic flow pattern will be in place today
across the central and southern U.S. Several shortwave troughs will
move across the northern states. Ahead of one of the troughs,
isolated thunderstorm development will be possible in the southern
Great Lakes. Along the West Coast, a few lightning strikes may occur
as a shortwave trough moves inland. No severe threat is expected
across the continental United States today and tonight.
