....NO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AREAS FORECAST...

....SUMMARY...
A few thunderstorms will be possible this evening into tonight
across the Upper Midwest, eastern Florida and in parts of the
western states. No severe threat is expected.

....DISCUSSION...
A west-southwest mid-level flow pattern will remain in place across
the continental United States through tonight. A shortwave trough
will move across the north-central states. A 40 to 50 knot low-level
jet ahead of the trough will contribute to a chance for elevated
thunderstorms across parts of the Upper Midwest tonight. Elsewhere,
isolated thunderstorms will be possible across parts of central
Florida. A few lightning strikes may also occur along parts of the
West Coast and in the Intermountain West. No severe threat is
expected across the continental United States this evening and
tonight.
