In the wake of a cold frontal passage late Sunday into Monday, seasonably cold high pressure is forecast to build into much of the central and eastern CONUS next week. Relatively rich low-level moisture south of the front across parts of Texas into the Gulf Coast will support thunderstorm potential for much of the week.
