Severe thunderstorms are not forecast across the contiguous U.S.
today.

....Discussion...
Strong low-level warm theta-e advection downstream of a broad
positive-tilt upper trough will support sporadic elevated
thunderstorms spreading across parts of New England through midday.
Otherwise, very isolated thunderstorms will be possible, mainly this
afternoon, along a cold front trailing southwestward across the
Southeast. Relatively warm/dry mid-levels suggest most convection
should remain low-topped, with weak buoyancy anticipated for
sustaining thunderstorm development in north FL/south GA and eastern
NC.
