Rapid visibility reductions are possible with bursts of moderate to heavy snow. DISCUSSION...Latest KBUF/KCLE radar data show an organizing snow band extending from southwestern NY into far northeastern OH. This band is organizing along the wind shift accompanying a southeastward-advancing arctic cold front. Overall environmental conditions appear favorable for the persistence and perhaps intensification of this band into a snow squall during the next few hours. For additional details on these environmental conditions, please reference MCD 128. The one limiting factor is dry boundary-layer conditions with eastward extent into central PA and NY. However, sufficient boundary-layer moisture is evident immediately ahead of the developing snow band to support rapid visibility reductions in bursts of moderate to heavy snow. ...Weinman.. 02/03/2023 ....Please see https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.spc.noaa.gov__;!!DZ3fj= g!4oMPMPvycV1ROdWMxy5eFvq0ve3WXN6r08fCRrHm712l9KQj667NHcOl57vdAqZnVMVjRUw4r= onw-QfgF-O7syU7lBY$ for graphic product...
