....SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are not forecast today or tonight across the
contiguous United States.

....Discussion...
Split upper flow will prevail over the western part of the CONUS
with a persistence of strong/confluent low-amplitude westerlies
toward the Eastern States. While severe storms are not expected
through tonight, isolated/elevated thunderstorms will remain
possible today primarily across central to east/northeast Texas as
weak elevated instability will exist with wintry precipitation
across the region. Nearly 200 J/kg MUCAPE, based around 850mb/1km
AGL, was noted in 12z observed soundings from Fort Worth TX and
Shreveport LA.
