Multiple low-amplitude shortwave troughs will cross the northern
half of the CONUS amidst a longwave trough and related broad
cyclonic upper-level flow. Influenced by a post-frontal air mass,
high pressure centered over the Gulf Coast and Southeast States, and
continental trajectories, cool/stable conditions are expected to
preclude thunderstorms across the continental United States.
