Thunderstorms are not forecast today or tonight across the
continental United States.

....DISCUSSION...
A series of shortwave troughs will move eastward across the
Mississippi Valley and Appalachians today, while northwest flow
remains in place across much of the western half of the nation. At
the surface, a cold front will advance southeastward across the
central U.S., as a large surface high remains dominant in the Gulf
Coast region. The dry and relatively cold airmass associated with
the area of high pressure will be unfavorable for thunderstorm
development today and tonight across the continental United States.
