Severe thunderstorms are not forecast on Saturday.

....Synopsis and Discussion...
Thunderstorm potential will be minimal Saturday over a large
majority of the CONUS, with surface high pressure centered over the
Southeast and OH Valley maintaining offshore trajectories over the
Gulf of Mexico. One exception will be over parts of northern/central
CA. Another upper trough/low is forecast to pivot eastward along and
near the West Coast through the period. Although instability is
forecast to be quite weak, isolated lightning flashes will be
possible with low-topped convection given cold temperatures aloft.
Severe convection is not expected.
