Valid 042026Z - 042200Z The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 14 continues. SUMMARY...Severe risk continues across northeast Florida and far southeast Georgia. Primary concerns are damaging winds and perhaps a brief tornado. DISCUSSION...An intense line of storms across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia persists this afternoon, moving east-northeast at around 50 mph. Moist, unstable conditions are present in the boundary layer ahead of the line, with 0-6 km shear of 50-60 kts (sampled by the KJAX VWP) oriented oblique to the line. Given the continued linear/organized mode and deep updrafts keeping pace with the gust front, damaging winds of up to 60-70 mph and perhaps a brief tornado are possible. These storms will generally continue east-northeastward towards the coast over the next couple hours. ...Supinie/Weinman.. 01/04/2023 ....Please see https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.spc.noaa.gov__;!!DZ3fj= g!8-GhSVMcr6hTaa3urwngbrH_uQnLbwl2uL5nlgjQHge1PI4Tp0X9pXpCKBO0F_3VsUk47u14g= a9PjCx9vBrdYi77Amg$ for graphic product...
